Hi lizzie its Kayleigh. I miss you so much and will never forget your beautiful voice. Things are going really well with the new music teacher she is lovely but nobody will be like you. I hope things are going well wherever in the world you are now. X
Oh my goodness! I'm glad I looked this up. I literally have tried singing the alto parts to Abba songs since before I even knew what an "alto part" was. When I was 7, I'd listen to my mom's Abba records and sing the lyrics that were, thankfully, included with their record albums. 😀 This was wayyyy back in the 70's. Not all records included lyrics. Anyway, I borrowed my mom's massive headphones, so i could hear all the glorious sounds they produced for each song. I recognized there were different parts being sung and loved them. I didn't have any musical training at all at that point, so, I had no idea how to sing the alto part but just tried blending in. Fast forward to now. I have had plenty of instrumental musical training. I'm technically a soprano (ugh!) and sometimes can't get the lower alto notes. But now that you very clearly sang the alto part of this song, I can practice along and work on it. Thanks for sharing! PS sorry for the long story. I'm an empty nester. Can you tell? Lol
Hi Elizabeth, I sort of stumbled into this. I grew up in another part of the world and the ABBA harmonies were golden then (and now, and so are Beatles). A young lady recently sang this and I had the itching to sing the harmony. So I searched. Amazing alto range and vibrato.. even at the low G. Best to you, whatever you are doing. Mat from Dallas TX.
I want to add that I LOVE your vibrato. I always envy people, like you, who can sing with such a pretty vibrato. Mine is natural (no vocal training), but mediocre. Your voice is beautiful as well!
Beautiful, but that was second soprano. There are 3 parts and there is one lower(alto) I’m not trying to call you out in a snobby way, I just need to learn the lowest part. It’s hard not to go up into the other ones. It’s a tough song. Beautiful job

I know very little about singing but I know good music when I hear it and this is beautiful. The singer has an exceptionaly beautiful voice.
